One of my favorite lenses is the Sony G 90mm macro f/2.8

I mainly use it my studio when shooting portraits. It’s the perfect focal length for shooting full body shots, medium shots, head shots but also close up’s.

This lens is extremely sharp but I would not use aperture values above f/13 as sharpness decreases.

The disadvantage is the focus speed but that is common with macro lenses. On the Sony A1 it delivers and even in dark environments it locks the eye. On my Sony A7R3 it sometimes struggled.
