Workshop for "foto Robyns"

A few weeks ago I gave two workshops “start with fashion photography” at the Drone Port in Sint Truiden. We were very happy Celine van Ouytsel was our model and she did like always a stunning job.

I would like to thank Frank Deltour and everyone else who was involved in making the event a great succes. I also would like to thank “Celle” de Petter and his team for the use of the Mirage and their support (but also for the huge compliment)

The overall response was very positive. I guess every photographer who attended the workshop learned something new. I could talk for days about photography but we only had little time as everyone would have the possibility to make a few photos of Celine.

The main topic was how to use flash in combination with ambient light and why using a light meter (and the the Godox wireless module) is still very useful in today’s world of digital photography. “Don’t shoot and adjust but measure and shoot”. I also showed the power of the Sony A1 and why the Godox Parabolic 128 is my favorite light former.

Find more information about the Parabolic 128 in this blog:

Thank you Hervé Campsteyn for the photos of “behind the scenes”.

Only the parabolic 128 (and backlight with sport reflector) were used. The parabolic is an amazing light modifier and my absolute favorite.
