Happy to announce my photo “Alien Beauty” has been selected for the World Photographic Contest by an international jury for team Belgium in the category “illustrative portrait”.

The beautiful young woman is Karen Jansen and she is absolutely a pleasure to work with.

My expectations to win are not that high though I think it is a strong image. Last year I found the quality by other photographers were top notch. The picture was shot on March the 25th and finished somewhere in the beginning of april. it's probably the photo I've been working on the longest of all the photos I ever did.
